Getting started

Welcome to YoMikey SMP. You spawn on the deck in Forge City, a canyon city shaped like our logo. Here's how to get going.

Before you join

1. Install the Technic Launcher and the Tekkit 2 modpack, version 1.2.6.
2. Give it 6 GB of RAM or more in the launcher settings.
3. Add the server: yomikeysmp.modrinth.gg

Your first hour

1. You start with 100 Forge Coins. Check with /bal.
2. Read the rules: /rules. You'll also find a handbook in your inventory.
3. Grab a free apartment: stand in an empty room in Forge City and type /lot claim.
4. Store valuables in your personal vault: right-click a [Bank] sign in the Vault Bank.
5. Head out and gather. The wilderness is free to build in but unprotected.
6. Sell what you gather at the Exchange with /exchange, or take a job (see Jobs and ways to earn).
7. Find a town with /t list, or found your own at least 160 blocks from spawn.
8. Join the Discord at discord.gg/xxARpAuw9M, then type /discord link in game and post the code in #link-your-account. You become a Citizen and can talk to the game from Discord.
