Money & the Exchange

Forge Coins (FC) are the server's money. They live in your balance, so they can't be dropped or stolen.

• /bal shows your balance, /pay <player> <amount> sends coins, /baltop lists the richest players.

The Exchange

The Exchange in Forge City buys and sells common materials. Inside it, type /exchange to open the trading menu.

• Left-click an item to buy 1, shift + left-click to buy 16.
• Right-click to sell 1, shift + right-click to sell all you carry.
• The hopper (shift-click) sells everything in your inventory that the Exchange buys.

Hover over any item to see its buy and sell price, the Exchange's stock, and how many you carry.

How prices work

• The Exchange only sells what players have sold to it. If something is sold out, sell some and it's back for everyone.
• Every sale lowers the price and every purchase raises it. When stock is short, sellers get paid the most.
• A little stock gets used up every hour, so prices recover and selling stays worthwhile.
• The Exchange screen in Forge City (and the website) shows 24-hour changes, the day's biggest movers and price charts.

Rare materials

Uranium, iridium, steel, desh, titanium, nether stars and dark/red matter have no EMC on this server. They have to be mined or made, so they're worth real money.

New items

Want the Exchange to trade something? Hold it and type /exchange request. Staff see a most-wanted list, and the News Wire announces every new listing.
