Jobs & ways to earn

There's no single path. Pick what you enjoy:

• Miner: dig up mined-only materials and sell them at the Exchange or to players.
• Shopkeeper: run a shop lot or buy orders and profit on the spread.
• Hauler: deliver freight jobs between stations.
• Engineer: build power, reactors, ME systems or factories, for yourself or for hire.
• Rail builder: get paid by towns and nations to lay lines.
• Trader: watch the Exchange board, buy what's cheap and sell what's short. Flip auctions.
• Investor: buy company shares and collect dividends.
• Mayor, judge or diplomat: run a town, hear court cases, or negotiate treaties.
